Rally for Niger

People young and old, from all different backgrounds, come together every year all around the United States to raise money for children in Niger. These rally events are organized by various organizations, groups and clubs. The rallies are fun and there is a sense of camaraderie as we talk and laugh, and sometimes enjoy friendly competition!

Running, walking, pancake breakfasts, hunger strikes – there are so many different events, depending on what each group decides to do. We all share a common bond in that we want the children in Niger to have the same opportunities that we have to improve their lives and realize their full potential.

The Remember Niger Coalition began because we saw a unique opportunity to help Nigeriens who have a vision for their country. Our Nigerien partners envision a transformed Niger through primary education. They began with one school with about 400 students. There are now 9 schools with over 1,600 students. This would not be possible without you, our supporters. THANK YOU.

Each year, our rallies raise money for a project in Niger that most needs our support. This year the funds will be used to build a preschool. Here in the United States, we understand the value of giving the youngest minds the right start in school. Little children in Niger will be able to gain this valuable learning experience because of your generosity.

Where would you be if you had not attended school?

In Niger, it is a reality for children. Most do not have any chance to go to school. But, our sponsorship program has already changed the lives of hundreds of children. Sponsors are giving children the opportunity to attend school! Learn more on our Sponsorships page.
