Q. Do I have to join Champions of Hope to continue sponsoring my student?
A. No. Whether you give monthly or annually, student sponsorship is not changing. You may continue sponsoring your student exactly as you do today. Champions of Hope simply recognizes and celebrates those who choose to make their gifts monthly.
Q. Why is monthly giving important to Remember Niger?
A. Every gift to Remember Niger is important. Major gifts, annual sponsorships, grants, church partnerships, and monthly donations all play a vital role in helping children access quality education. We are currently placing an emphasis on increased monthly giving because it provides a dependable source of funding that allows us to plan ahead and respond to the needs of our students and partner schools throughout the year. This steady support helps sustain educational programs and provides a strong foundation for the work we do together.
Q. What if I already sponsor a student by giving $35 monthly?
A. You will continue sponsoring your student just as you do now and will continue receiving updates from Karen Pepin about your student. As a Champion of Hope, you'll also receive a monthly impact email featuring stories, photos, and updates that show the broader impact your monthly giving is making across Remember Niger partner schools. If you'd like to increase your monthly gift, you always have the option to expand your impact.
Q. I have been sponsoring the same student for years. If I increase my monthly gift, will I keep the same student?
A. Yes. You will continue sponsoring the same student unless your student graduates or is no longer enrolled at the school.
Q. If I increase my $35 monthly gift, will I still sponsor a student?
A. Yes. You will continue sponsoring your student. Any amount above $35 per month will be designated as an unrestricted donation unless you choose to sponsor an additional student. Unrestricted gifts allow us to respond to the greatest needs across our partner schools and educational programs.
Q. What if I sponsor a student by making one annual payment of $420?
A. Nothing changes. You will continue sponsoring your student and receiving the same communications from Karen Pepin about your student throughout the year. Your annual gift continues to make a lasting difference in the life of your student.
Q. What if I provide a scholarship for a secondary school student by giving $50 monthly?
A. You will continue providing a scholarship for your student just as you do now and will continue receiving updates from Karen Pepin about your student. As a Champion of Hope, you'll also receive a monthly impact email featuring stories, photos, and updates that show the broader impact your monthly giving is making across Remember Niger partner schools. If you'd like to increase your monthly gift, you always have the option to expand your impact.

A. Absolutely. You may continue sponsoring multiple students, or you may choose to sponsor one student and designate the remainder of your monthly gift as an unrestricted donation. Unrestricted gifts allow us to respond to the greatest needs across our partner schools and educational programs.
