Remember Niger Coalition provides support to our school partners for the construction of new classrooms, latrines, security walls, and other required structures. Classroom infrastructure is pivotal to our mission to create quality educational opportunities in Niger. The planned progression toward multi-level educational complexes in our partner school communities provides permanent space for thousands of students in pre-school through high school to receive quality educations,, in preparation for university and professional level degrees.
School buildings and CLASSROOMS
We recognize that new classrooms and school buildings are crucial to our mission. Each year Remember Niger works with our partners and supporters to provide more space at our current school communities. In addition, we are regularly in conversation with potential new partners in need of new space for students to go to school.
In 2022, a new 3-classroom middle school was constructed. The parents in the community had been asking for it for several years. They recognized the success of the primary school that was already established, and they wanted a space nearby for their children to continue in school. The new middle school is adjacent to the primary school, which boasts a 100% student matriculation to middle school. Establishing a middle school in the community will enables children to continue their education without having to leave their home communities to travel longer distances to school.
