115 teachers and administrators attended training and at least 2800 students were impacted through this program in the 2022-23 school year.

Only 62% of primary school teachers in Niger have 1 year of post-high school training.  We close the gap between minimally trained and high-capacity teachers through our Teach-the-Teacher seminar program, which annually gathers teachers for 5 days of learning. We work collaboratively with the local Ministry of Education to develop and present the seminar curriculum, which includes: Curriculum planning and pedagogy, Inclusive education; School administration; Hygiene and sanitation; Computer training; and additional topics, as requested by the Ministry of Education. Each primary school teacher from our partner schools is invited to the training. 115 teachers and administrators and at least 2800 students were impacted through this program in the 2022-23 school year. In 2023, we plan to expand this programming to include middle school teachers from our partner schools.
