The 5th annual School Spirit Run for Niger is a family friendly 5K run/walk through the beautiful James Island County Park trails. It is a morning of friendly competition between schools as well as a celebration of education in the lowcountry and in Niger, Africa. Participants are encouraged to wear t-shirts and memorabilia from their school of choice to emphasize unity despite dissimilarity. Proceeds from the event will go directly toward the construction of a school in Niger, Africa, one of the most impoverished nations in the world. Parking is free for all walkers/runners at the Stono Shelter or the Wando Shelter. Please tell the attendant at the gate you are with the School Spirit Run for Niger. Please pick up your race bags at James Island Presbyterian Church Friday, 11/06/20 from 3:00 - 5:00pm.
